Prof. Shigemi Furuta, programme director of the University of Macau (UM) Asia-Pacific Academy of Economics and Management (APAEM) , was invited to Kyushu, Japan to give talks at the Monthly Breakfast Meeting of the Kyushu Economics Forum and the Spring Seminar of Japan HK Society of the Kyushu, on the 22nd Feb and 23rd Feb, 2018.
Topics about Macau integrated resort industry development responsible gaming, public policies and the role of University of Macau were presented to the distinguished leaders during the meetings.
In addition, Prof. Furuta has met with the government authorities and academic representatives including Mr. Susumu Ishihara (President of Kyushu Economic Forum) , Mr. Akinori Kobayakawa (President of Fukuoka Association of Independent Entrepreneurs), Mr. Norio Tomonaga (Mayor of Sasebo) and Prof. Tomoyuki Itagaki (Dean of International Tourism Dept. of Nagasaki International University ), to promote the University of Macau and discussed on the possibility for project partnership in the future.
